AMR sensors include analog output types and digital output types.
Elements refer to the analog outputs. In the sensor, analog output is used to detect how the
magnet approaches the sensor and the rotating position of the magnet. Analog output requires
separate processing at the signal processing side, but it enables you to find the intermediate
value for the rotation angle and other parameters.
ICs are circuits that perform digital processing on the same boards as the elements. They
process analog outputs and output at Hi and Lo levels within a single sensor for enabling easy
signal processing.
