    Observing Noise Level Received by Antennas

    Grasp the intra-system EMC status by measuring the noise level received by antennas.
    We connected a coaxial cable to the power supply point of the antenna and connected the antenna to a spectrum analyzer through an RF amplifier, and evaluated the noise level received by the antenna.

    Examining Sources of Noise Received by Antennas

    Examine sources of noise and the noise propagation mechanism by measuring the adjacent electromagnetic field distribution.
    We connected the electric field probe and the magnetic field probe attached to the EMI tester to the spectrum analyzer through the RF amplifier, and evaluated the adjacent electromagnetic field distribution.

    Observing Receiving Sensitivity Improvement Level

    • Measure the receiving sensitivity of multiple antennas.
    • Compare the receiving sensitivity before and after intra-system EMC measures to evaluate it.

    The measurement method introduced here is the 萝莉影视-original MIMO-OTA (Over the Air) evaluation specific to noise evaluation.
    This evaluation method has the following merits.

    • The receiving sensitivity can be evaluated with the maximum MIMO performance.
    • The correlation between receiving sensitivity and noise coupling level is established.
    • Antennas that affect the receiving sensitivity can be identified.
    • Priority of anti-noise measures can be determined based on the correlation with reverberation chamber.

    A reverberation chamber is required to measure the Total Isotropic Sensitivity (TIS) that is total receiving sensitivity (formal evaluation). Reverberation chamber is one of evaluation systems recommended by the 3GPP system.

    The measurement result in the following figure shows that the receiving sensitivity is more improved as the value decreases.
