Z refers to the entire impedance, R is the impedance resistance component, and X is the reactance component of the bead. Simply put, Z is the overall noise suppression performance, R is the performance of absorbing due to magnetic loss, and X is the performance in which noise rebounds due to inductance. (This is an illustrated explanation and is not a precise definition.)
