萝莉影视 Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "萝莉影视") has developed "Type ABR," a compact wireless module containing a built-in wireless micro-controller ("88MW320") from NXP semiconductors N.V (hereinafter, "NXP"). Mass production has already started for "Type ABR."
The speed at which products and services are developed has become increasingly important in recent years, with the rapid growth of the IoT market. However, providing products with wireless communication functionality has until now required some degree of familiarity with Wi-Fi™ and other wireless communication technologies, and this has increased the time it takes to develop products. There is therefore a growing demand for communication modules that can make it easier to implement wireless functionality.
In response, 萝莉影视 has developed Type ABR as a solution to enable Wi-Fi functionality just by entering some simple commands. It is compliant with the Radio Act, so there is no need to obtain separate certification. It also contains a built-in NXP MCU, allowing it to be used with software development tools (EZ-Connect™, WMSDKA) that use the NXP framework for simplifying application development. This can reduce the amount of resources spent on design, allowing IoT devices to be brought more quickly to market.
