The SCH16T series delivers industry leading performance and safety in a single package 6DoF MEMS IMU, designed for demanding industrial environments. The series includes three variants:

  • SCH16T-K01 – A versatile, high performance general purpose IMU
  • SCH16T-K10 – Extended gyroscope range variant for high rotation speed measurement
  • SCH16T-K20 – The latest addition, featuring significantly enhanced gyroscope and accelerometer performance.

The SCH16T series products share a market leading robust MEMS platform with the most advanced MEMS gyroscope available. Wide measurement range accelerometer in SCH16T-K01 and SCH16T-K10 offer automotive proven performance in rough environments.
Brand new accelerometer MEMS in SCH16T-K20 provides lower offset bias shift over temperature and splits the noise density in half compared to the K01 and the K10 variants.
The new MEMS is based on a double differential measurement principle familiar from our current SCA3400 and legacy SCA103T series sensors. Additionally, the K20 gyroscope calibration is fine-tuned to enable lower offset bias shift over temperature compared to the other product versions.
SCH16T platform is validated carefully with a test set based on AEC-Q100 operating temperature grade1 (−40 °C to +125 °C) tests ensuring reliable operation over the large temperature window.
All SCH16T series sensors include market leading self-diagnostics features making the series sensors suitable in safety critical applications. Additionally, the series sensors are software and pin to pin compatible with each other making the switch between the sensors within a product line easy and cost effective.
