    Omnidirectional Detection Applications

    Ideal for replacing reed switches

    • For when you have a reed switch that is broken or damaged and you are looking for a replacement.
    • For devices that are difficult to use due to the high current consumption of the sensor, even when replacing it with a magnetic sensor.

    Exceptional multi-directional magnetic field detection

    It can detect magnetic fields from multiple directions. Even after installing the device, it can be used for magnets approaching from non-fixed directions.

    Application Example 1: Security Switch

    • The omnidirectional AMR sensor detects the opening of the window and sounds an alarm.
    • Easy for construction workers to work with. (Since the direction of the magnets does not matter for the omnidirectional AMR sensor, it can handle an increased number of window shapes and sizes, and makes work easier for construction workers who install it.)

    Application Example 2: Irregular Magnetic Field Detection for Meters

    An irregular magnetic field refers to the setting up of a strong, permanent magnet in the proximity of measuring instruments, such as a meter, to tamper with it, or to cause it to malfunction. With an omnidirectional AMR sensor, just one sensor can detect an irregular magnetic field.
